Designated Safeguarding Leads

 If you have any concerns over the safety of any of our children - please contact one of our Safeguarding lead teachers as soon as possible.

If you think a child is at immediate risk of serious harm, requiring immediate action - call the Warwickshire Front Door on 01926 414144 or the Police on 999.

“Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is everyone’s responsibility. Everyone who comes into contact with children and their families and carers has a role to play in safeguarding children. In order to fulfill this responsibility effectively, all professionals should make sure their approach is child-centered. This means that they should consider, at all times, what is in the best interests of the child.”

Reporting a concern about an adult

If you are ever worried about the behaviour of an adult towards a child at our school — a member of staff, a supply teacher, a volunteer, a contractor or a governor — please tell us. You will be taken seriously and you will not be asked to justify raising it.

If your concern is about anyone working or volunteering at the school
Contact the Headteacher, Lisa Bernard, through the school office on 01788 542027. You can ask to speak to the Headteacher directly without giving a reason to the office team.

If your concern is about the Headteacher
Contact the Chair of Governors, Richard Allen via the school
office to pass on a message asking the Chair to contact you.

If you would rather not come to the school at all
You can go straight to Warwickshire's Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO), who deals with concerns about adults who work with children, on 01926 745376.
You do not need our permission to do this.

What happens next
We follow Part Four of Keeping Children Safe in Education 2025. Any concern that meets the harm threshold is referred to the LADO within one working day, and the school does not carry out its own investigation. Lower-level concerns about adult conduct are recorded and reviewed by the Designated Safeguarding Lead so that any pattern is spotted early.
