Our Peer Mediators
We are excited to introduce our Peer Mediators for the 2025/2026 academic year. These are older students who help younger peers resolve minor conflicts, such as playground disagreements, by guiding them to their own solutions. They are taught to listen impartially, create a safe space, and help disputing children find an agreement, but they refer serious issues to a staff member.
The peer mediator program teaches children problem-solving skills and emotional management, while also providing a peer support system. They have been introduced to the whole school during out Autumn term PSHE whole school assembly.
