Growing Peace for our Planet

RE and Art Competition for Coventry Cathedral.

RE Day Summer 2023

The children had a fantastic day exploring the Christian concepts of Creation and Kingdom of God through a context of valuing and protecting the planet.

The children learnt about land, air and sea pollution and how Christians feel about caring for God's Good Earth.

Bishop John visited for the afternoon, he visited each class to see the amazing artwork we created inspired by the theme 'Growing Peace for our Planet' and took part in our celebratory assembly. He then planted a plum tree in our friendship garden as a lasting gift for our school and environment.
